Native Woman

Below is a charcoal sketch I did months ago, but I liked the strange, glazed over look in her eye and the way her mouth sits on her face.  I believe the actual photo was done by someone with National Geographic (who I LOVE) and she was part of a tribal ceremony of some sort.

Watercolor and Ink, Gem of the Cosmos

So, I was playing around with colors and ink, and this is what came of it.  I wanted to test out some patterns and colors and see what kind of drippy designs I could create.  I'm not quite sure what it is, or what I want it to be, but here goes.

Strawberry

I recently finished a fruit and water painting.  I was trying to achieve the brightest colors possible with the strawberry itself, and I must say that I'm pleased with the results.

So here it is... the name of this painting is Strawberry Drops. It will be up on the originals page soon.

A Panda Fantasy

Ok, so I know this may seem a bit off from the paintings I have been showing on here, but after you take a look at the ink page, I'm sure you'll realize this is pretty mild.....all things considered.  This new piece that's in the works has a panda, yes I said it, a panda.  Not only a panda, but a person riding a panda.  Let that sink in a bit, and while you're at it, realize you shouldn't get your hopes up about seeing the finished painting.  Why? Well, because I said so.  In the unfortunate event that I find myself hating the painting how it turns out, I'll might consider not posting it.  But, don't worry, cause who knows if that'll even happen...
